Merchant terms
Last updated 31 October 2026
These terms apply to restaurants (“you”) that claim a listing, post deals or buy promotions on CurryDeals, operated by CurryDeals. They sit alongside our Terms of use and Privacy policy.
1. Listings
- Basic listings are free. We may create listings from publicly available information before you claim them.
- To claim a listing you must be authorised to act for the business. We verify claims (for example by email, ABN or phone) and may refuse or revoke a claim.
- You must keep your details (address, hours, contact information, dietary tags) accurate.
2. Deals
- Deals must be genuine, available as described, and comply with the Australian Consumer Law, including rules on misleading pricing (e.g. “was/now” prices must reflect a genuine previous price).
- You must honour a deal shown on CurryDeals while it's live, including any codes, unless the terms you published say otherwise. End or edit deals promptly when they change.
- Dietary claims (halal, vegetarian, vegan, Jain, gluten-free) must be accurate and you are responsible for them.
- We may moderate, edit for formatting, pause or remove deals, for example after repeated “not working” reports.
- We send a monthly check-in so you can confirm your deals are still running.
3. Boosts (featured placement)
- Boosts give a deal priority placement for a set period. Current prices: $19 for 7 days and $49 for 30 days. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Boosts are free during our launch period, which runs until 31 Mar 2027 (or a later date we announce).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. A tax invoice is issued for each payment.
- Boosts start immediately after payment and are non-refundable once live, except where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law or where we remove your deal through no fault of yours (in which case we'll refund the unused portion).
- A boost improves visibility; it does not guarantee a particular number of views or customers.
4. Referrals
If you refer another restaurant and it claims and verifies its listing, you may receive a free boost of 7 days as a reward. Rewards have no cash value and we may change or end the referral program at any time.
5. Content licence
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the content you provide (name, logo, photos, menu details and deals) to operate and promote CurryDeals, including in our newsletter and social media. You confirm you have the rights to that content.
6. Removal
You can ask us to correct or remove your listing at any time via our correction & removal form or hello@currydeals.com.au. We aim to respond within 5 business days. We may suspend listings that breach these terms.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with paid services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
